We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounting Clerk to join one of our clients finance team in Smyrna. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in general accounting and a passion for accuracy and organization. You’ll play a key role in maintaining financial records, processing transactions, and supporting reporting and reconciliation efforts.

Responsibilities:

  • Enter and process invoices, payments, and other financial transactions accurately

  • Maintain and update accounting records and files

  • Perform data entry and ensure accuracy of financial information

  • Reconcile bank statements and other financial records

  • Assist with accounts payable (A/P) and accounts receivable (A/R) processes

  • Prepare basic financial reports and summaries

  • Support month-end and year-end closing procedures

  • Communicate with vendors and internal teams to resolve discrepancies

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of recent general accounting experience, including A/P and A/R

  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.)

  • Working knowledge of SAP, NetSuite, or Great Plains is a plus

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field preferred



Pay Details: $28.00 to $32.00 per hour
