Network Systems Engineer Location: Onsite in Rancho Cucamonga, CA Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM (Saturday availability required for major projects) Employment Type: Full-Time

LHH Technology is seeking a talented Network Systems Engineer to join a close-knit, high-performing IT team supporting enterprise infrastructure operations. Key Responsibilities Network Design & Architecture



  • Design and deploy enterprise-grade network infrastructure


  • Define scalable architecture standards to support long-term growth


  • Research and evaluate emerging technologies for performance/security gains


Network Administration



  • Manage routers, switches, VPNs, and firewalls


  • Oversee day-to-day network performance and availability


  • Lead capacity planning and coordinate upgrades


Network Security



  • Develop and implement security protocols and controls


  • Conduct audits and vulnerability assessments


  • Respond to incidents and lead post-mortem/root cause analysis


Troubleshooting & Tier III Support



  • Resolve advanced technical issues affecting critical systems


  • Partner with business units and external vendors for support escalations


  • Ensure minimal downtime across infrastructure


Documentation & Reporting



  • Maintain updated documentation and network diagrams


  • Create system performance and capacity reports


Mentorship & Collaboration



  • Mentor junior engineers and IT support staff


  • Align IT initiatives with strategic business goals


  • Contribute to cross-functional infrastructure planning


Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field


  • Minimum 5 years of experience in network systems or administration


  • Strong Cisco experience (Nexus, Meraki)


  • Fortinet firewall experience required


  • Active Directory: capable of building from scratch


  • ERP experience strongly preferred (SAGE 100 ideal)


  • Preferred certifications: CCNP, Fortinet NSE, CompTIA Network+


  • Familiar with SolarWinds, Wireshark, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure a plus)


  • Strong written and verbal communication skills


  • Bonus: Autodesk Vault/Inventor knowledge


Compensation & Benefits



  • Salary: $110,000 – $150,000 (DOE)
