· Manage projects from start to completion through the 5 key phases: concept, award, preparation, execution, and closeout.
· Develop budgetary through final quotations.
· Select vendors through a competitive bid process.
· Establish project timelines/schedules and ensure timely completion.
· Coordinate all aspects of project installation between Automated Systems' site supervisor, installation crews, vendors, and customers.
· Approve release of payments/invoices, change orders, and other credits/debits to projects.
· Closely follow systems installation from day-to-day, addressing and resolving issues to ensure customer satisfaction and a fully functional system.
· Manage document flow to ensure customer receives proper manuals such as maintenance/operation/spare parts, etc.
· Respond to customer calls relating to issues with existing systems.
· Manage project budget to ensure compliance and alert management if issues arise.
· Receive quotes for project work as needed and prepare PO requests to ensure work is done in a timely manner.
· Capable of observing and documenting issues/conditions that threaten project critical path.
· Assist with communication to project stakeholders, ensuring they are informed of project progress. Communicate updates of assigned project scope. Help to identify and document project risks and issues. Collaborate with project team members to ensure tasks are completed on time.
· SYSTEM DESIGN & ENGINEERING
· Understand system architecture/functionality needed to deliver a complete AMHS system. Can create an outline of a system specification document for potential and existing customers.
· Coordinate engineering design between mechanical, electrical, and computer suppliers worldwide.
· Review and approve all drawings and functional specifications.
TECHNICAL SKILLS
· Utilize AutoCAD and other software to review, update and modify designs.
· Demonstrate knowledge of system design rules and application in the field.
· Manage project quality control during installation phases and resolve issues.
· Review designs for potential issues and proactively address issues prior to installation.
· Work with installation team to develop timelines and schedules for project.
· Develop RFQ document for assigned projects.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
· Bachelor's degree, BSME or BSEE from four-year college or university; and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
· Ability to create, read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, blueprints, schematic diagrams, and technical drawings. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
· Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY
· Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form, furnished in written or oral form, and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
· Strong project management skills. Proficient with MS office suite and MS project.
· Knowledge and ability to apply project management techniques. Knowledge and experience with personal computers and various application software such as spreadsheets, word processors, and database managers.
TRAVEL
· This position requires up to 25% travel including domestic and international with overnight stays. A valid driver’s license and good driving record are required.
