Job Summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experience contract to hire Customer Service Representative I, filling a front-line role responsible for supporting our client’s logistics operations through accurate billing, documentation, and customer interaction. This position plays a critical part in ensuring smooth freight processing and resolution of customer inquiries. The ideal candidate brings strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.


Location: Pasco, WA 99301 – 100% On - Site
Work Hours: Mon to Fri or Tue to Sat, 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM PT
Compensation: $22.89 Per Hour Depending on Experience

Typical Day-to-Day Activities

  • Bill shipments in accordance with tariffs and pricing agreements

  • Identify and correct documentation errors

  • Respond to customer inquiries including shipment tracing, rate quotes, billing discrepancies, and invoicing questions

  • Perform general clerical duties such as answering phones, filing, data entry, and billing

  • Process freight discrepancies (overages, shortages, damages) and related documentation

  • Operate on a loading dock environment that may be slippery and is not climate-controlled

  • Walk and/or stand for extended periods


Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate and timely billing of shipments

  • Maintain documentation integrity and resolve errors proactively

  • Deliver high-quality customer service through phone and written communication

  • Support internal teams with clerical and administrative tasks

  • Handle freight issues and coordinate resolutions with customers

  • Uphold safety and operational standards in dock environments


Qualifications
Minimum Requirements

  • 2+ years of customer service experience

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Strong computer, typing, and 10-key skills

  • Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, nights, and weekends

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in transportation or logistics

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills



Pay Details: $21.00 to $22.89 per hour
