Financial Analyst (Valuation & Financial Modeling)
📍 Location: Onsite – Menlo Park, CA (3 days/week)
🕒 Schedule: Full-Time (Contract), 40 hours/week, Monday–Friday
💵 Pay Rate: $65–$80/hr (based on experience)
Position Summary
A highly analytical and experienced Financial Analyst is needed for a 6-month temporary role supporting valuation and financial modeling initiatives. This role focuses on a wide variety of investment types including infrastructure, private company equity, convertible debt, and more. The ideal candidate has a strong accounting and finance background, excels in Excel modeling, and can work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain detailed financial and valuation models for:
Debt issuances
Infrastructure assets (e.g., data centers)
Private company investments and derivatives
Intangible assets and liabilities
Review and monitor the performance of investment portfolios.
Conduct impairment assessments and valuation updates as needed.
Prepare quarterly reports and model updates.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather data and support decision-making.
Create presentation materials to communicate financial insights.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Strong ability to interpret and analyze financial statements.
Advanced Excel skills; strong financial modeling experience required.
Excellent attention to detail, organization, and critical thinking.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines independently.
Familiarity with financial markets and investment analysis.
Prior experience in investment banking, equity research, or valuation roles.
Background working with private equity or infrastructure valuation.
Work Environment
Hybrid onsite role: 3 days/week required in Menlo Park, CA.
40 hours/week; standard business hours.
Pay Details: $65.00 to $80.00 per hour
