Workers Compensation Claims Administrator
Location: Emeryville, CA (Hybrid – In Office Monday/Tuesday/Thursday) Pay Rate: $25 to $30/hour Duration: 3+ Months Start Date: ASAP
About the Role:
We're seeking a detail-oriented Workers Compensation Claims Administrator to join our team on a contract basis. This role will be essential in managing workers compensation claims and ensuring compliance with OSHA standards. The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer and track Workers Compensation claims from start to resolution
Ensure accurate and timely OSHA reporting in accordance with regulatory criteria
Maintain up-to-date records and documentation for all claims
Collaborate with HR, safety teams, and insurance providers as needed
Generate and analyze reports using Excel to support case management and trend tracking
Qualifications:
Experience handling Workers Compensation claims administration
Solid understanding of OSHA reporting requirements and compliance standards
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate level preferred)
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks independently
Schedule:
Hybrid: In-office required on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday
Remote work on Wednesday and Friday
