LHH is partnering with a manufacturing company based in Dallas, TX, seeking a Senior Accountant. We're looking for someone experienced in financial reporting, inventory/cost accounting, and collaborating with auditors. This in office, full-time position prioritizes work-life balance and values employee satisfaction. Compensation ranges from 90K-95K annually.
Responsibilities
Assist in month-end closing and support external audits.
Prepare lending compliance documentation and conduct cost analysis.
Design cost accounting systems and generate Sales/Gross margin reports.
Forecast cost-related changes and manage databases for cost information.
Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements following GAAP.
Manage inventory-related accounts and handle journal entries.
Analyze inventory accounts and support budgeting/forecasting.
Develop/implement inventory control procedures and conduct counts.
Monitor inventory levels, collaborate with teams, and ensure GAAP compliance.
Enhance inventory management systems and streamline procedures.
Participate in department-wide process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
CPA/CMA current or eligible with 5-10 years of relevant experience OR 2-3 years public accounting audit experience with manufacturing clients
Proficiency in accounting software and strong MS Office skills.
Attention to detail, analytical mindset, and excellent communication skills.
Ability to work independently and in cross
