Legal Operations Manager
Seattle, WA - Hybrid
Salary: $90,000 -$115,000 + Annual bonus
LHH is working with a law firm who’s seeking a Legal Operations Manager to join its Seattle office.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in the development, implementation, and maintenance of policies, procedures, and operational initiatives aligned with strategic goals
Address operational issues as they arise, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication
Perform due diligence on practice- and department-specific software (e-discovery, corporate governance, records management, etc.)
Recommend and develop standard operating procedures and workflows related to practice management
Develop integration plans for practice group technology
Assist with staff management, recruiting, performance assessments, and staffing level reviews
Manage legal staff workflow
Support onboarding and integration of new employees
Foster a culture of high performance, teamwork, and continuous improvement through metrics, feedback, and regular meetings
Stay current on trends in legal administrative technology; share insights and recommend improvements
Develop and manage annual operating budgets
Qualifications
Legal industry experience required
Strong communication skills with attorneys, staff, and vendors
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and document management systems
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
High degree of discretion and independent judgment
Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience (HR or operations-related)
