Job Title: Office Assistant

Location: Sorrento Valley, San Diego, CA


LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Office Assistant to support daily operations at our client’s Sorrento Valley, San Diego office. This role is ideal for a motivated individual who enjoys keeping an office organized, supporting team members, and ensuring smooth day-to-day workflow in a fast-paced environment.



The ideal candidate has 1+ year of office or administrative experience, strong organizational skills, and excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace is required, along with the ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work independently. A positive attitude, attention to detail, and willingness to assist with a wide range of tasks are key to success in this role.



Key Responsibilities

  • Answer and route incoming phone calls and emails professionally

  • Greet visitors and maintain a welcoming front office environment

  • Schedule appointments, meetings, and coordinate calendars

  • Perform data entry, filing, scanning, and document organization

  • Prepare basic correspondence and internal documents

  • Order office supplies and assist with inventory management

  • Support office logistics, mail distribution, and deliveries

  • Assist with special projects and general office tasks as assigned


Qualifications

  • 1+ year of experience in an office or administrative support role

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace

  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently


Additional Details:

  • Located in Sorrento Valley, San Diego

  • Contract to hire role

  • Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm PST

  • Onsite schedule, Full-time role

  • Compensation: $20.00-$27.00 per hour DOE
