Job Title: Distribution Planner

Location: Solana Beach, CA (Hybrid)

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a highly organized and analytical Distribution Planner to join our client’s team in Solana Beach. This hybrid role offers the flexibility to work both onsite and remotely while supporting end-to-end distribution operations for our growing organization. The ideal candidate will bring strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to forecast, plan, and optimize inventory flow across multiple channels.

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or a related field, along with strong communication skills and proficiency in Excel or ERP systems. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple priorities with accuracy and professionalism.

Job Description:

• Support day-to-day distribution planning to ensure timely product availability across multiple channels

• Analyze inventory levels, sales trends, and forecasting data to maintain optimal stock levels

• Develop and execute distribution strategies to improve efficiency and reduce operational bottlenecks

• Coordinate with suppliers, warehouse teams, transportation partners, and internal departments

• Monitor shipment schedules, track order status, and resolve delays or discrepancies

• Utilize ERP systems and Excel to update data, generate reports, and maintain accurate inventory records

• Identify supply chain risks, recommend solutions, and support continuous improvement initiatives

• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual planning cycles

• Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and operational guidelines

• Prepare documentation, dashboards, and performance reports for leadership review

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or a related field

• 1-3 years of experience in distribution planning, supply chain, logistics, or inventory management preferred

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Proficiency with Excel, forecasting tools, and ERP systems

• Excellent communication, follow-through, and organizational abilities

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid setting

• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

Position Details:

• Hybrid work schedule

• Direct hire role

• Compensation: $50,000-$55,000 annually DOE plus a bonus

• Located in Solana Beach, San Diego CA

• Full-time, Monday- Friday 8:00am-5:00pm PST
