Leasing Agent – Tax Credit (Temp-to-Hire)

πŸ•— Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Must be open to overtime, including weekends)


πŸ’° Pay Range: $24–$26 per hour

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Leasing Agent with solid experience in Tax Credit (LIHTC/Section 42) housing to join a dedicated property management team in Lincoln, CA. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with long-term potential for the right candidate.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of leasing, including application processing, tours, and move-ins

  • Accurately complete and process all Tax Credit/Section 42 leasing paperwork

  • Maintain an organized leasing and resident documentation system

  • Monitor local market conditions to support leasing strategies

  • Ensure excellent customer service to residents and prospective tenants

  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and management


Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of LIHTC/Tax Credit leasing experience strongly preferred

  • Strong knowledge of Section 42 compliance requirements

  • Highly organized with attention to detail

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel

    • Experience with VLOOKUPs and pivot tables is a plus

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred (not required)

  • Must be open to overtime and weekend work as needed

  • Positive, team-oriented attitude
