Job Details: Fully Onsite, Direct Hire, Full time
Compensation: $29-$35 an hour DOE
We have an exciting opportunity for a Bookkeeper to join our client in NE Portland. As an ideal candidate, you should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in full-cycle accounting and/or a degree in accounting that possess strong Excel/QuickBooks software experience.
Responsibilities:
- Processing and reviewing invoices, ensuring accuracy and completeness of invoices.
- Reconciling vendor statements and maintaining vendor files.
- Aid with vendor inquiries, prepare and process weekly check runs, and provide support to other accounting functions as required.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records, assisting with month-end close, and accruals.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 year of experience in an accounting environment; experience with Excel or QuickBooks is preferred and/or Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with accounting software
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team
