Anticipated Start Date: November 3, 2025
Work Location: Remote (Applicants must reside in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, or Utah)
Duration: 6 months with potential for extension or temp-to-hire


We’re hiring an Intake Specialist I where you’ll play a key role in supporting clinical operations through document review, workflow management, and administrative support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and route incoming clinical documents using internal systems

  • Identify correct workflows based on member benefits and document type

  • Manage workload distribution to meet time-sensitive deadlines

  • Ensure HIPAA-compliant documentation practices

  • Support urgent appeals and weekend coverage as needed

  • Perform general administrative tasks (e.g., inventory, correspondence, equipment maintenance)

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 1+ year of customer service or office experience (healthcare setting required)

  • Strong communication and writing skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare documentation

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

  • Comfortable adapting to fast-paced, evolving processes

Schedule & Connectivity Requirements:

  • Weekend shifts may be required (with flexible weekday time off)

  • Must be available to work past 6:00 PM PT and during holidays if needed

  • Must have a hard-wired internet connection (Cable, DSL, or Fiber only; satellite/mobile Wi-Fi not supported)

  • Company-provided equipment will be used

Compensation: $20-25/hr.
