Collections Specialist (Hybrid) – Contract-to-Hire

Near Monroeville, PA | Up to $20/hour | Hybrid (Onsite + Remote)

LHH is partnering with a reputable employer near Monroeville, PA to hire a Collections Specialist on a contract-to-hire basis. This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door, prove what you can do, and move into a permanent role.

What You’ll Do (Day-to-Day)

In this role, you’ll own collections outreach while keeping relationships strong and solutions-focused. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conduct proactive collection efforts by contacting customers with past-due accounts via phone and email to secure payment or negotiate arrangements
  • Investigate and help resolve billing discrepancies, credit issues, and payment delays by partnering with internal teams (Sales/Customer Service/Account Management)
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation of customer communication, commitments, and account activity in the system
  • Support compliant receivables practices while helping the business protect revenue

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in collections, accounts receivable, credit & collections, or B2B customer billing
  • Strong communication skills—you can be firm, professional, and customer-focused
  • Comfort using Excel for aging/AR analysis (and general MS Office proficiency)
  • Exposure to an ERP system is a plus (examples may include Oracle Cloud or similar)
