LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a growing energy client in the Oklahoma City, OK area to fill a Senior Financial Accountant position. This role will focus on financial reporting, corporate and operational accounting. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and is detail oriented and analytical.

Responsibilities:

• Own the preparation of monthly accounting entries and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.

• Conduct detailed variance analysis to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities.

• Prepare and analyze GAAP-compliant financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow).

• Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver financial insights that support business decisions.

• Manage monthly accruals and reconcile actuals to ensure precision.

• Support external audits by providing documentation and clear explanations to auditors.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).

• 5+ years of financial accounting/reporting experience, preferably in oil & gas sector.

• Strong background in financial reporting or public accounting.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.

• Ability to communicate complex financial data to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Proven track record of working collaboratively across departments and leading initiatives.
