Our client, a non-profit in Downtown Los Angeles, is looking to hire a Payroll Coordinator on a contract to hire basis. The role focuses on high-volume daily payroll processing, auditing, and data accuracy for multiple regions, primarily covering the West and Mid regions.
The hourly pay range for this job is $36.00-$40.00 hourly.
Key Responsibilities:
Process daily payroll for approximately 400-500 participants in assigned regions, with total company volume averaging 800+ per day.
Audit payroll data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal controls
Collaborate with site-level contacts to resolve payroll discrepancies and ensure timely payments
Perform manual uploads and data manipulation in Excel, including use of formulas, pivot tables, and VLOOKUPs
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with ADP Workforce Now and/or ADP Workforce Manager (time and attendance systems)
Proficiency in Excel, including advanced formulas and report manipulation
Prior payroll auditing experience in a high-volume environment
Experience with Skylight or similar payroll systems is a plus
Schedule:
7-hour workdays plus a 1-hour break, aligned to West Coast (California) hours; approximately 35 hours per week
Minimal overtime expected
Pay Details: $36.00 to $40.00 per hour
