Location: Onsite – Near Playa Vista, CA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Employment Type: Contract
Compensation: $85,000+ annually, DOE (dependent on experience)
Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Compensation Analyst to support compensation programs and initiatives for our client. This onsite contract role will partner closely with HR and leadership to ensure competitive, equitable, and compliant compensation practices.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze and maintain compensation structures, salary ranges, and pay practices
Conduct market pricing and benchmarking using compensation surveys
Support job evaluations, job leveling, and job description reviews
Assist with compensation planning processes (e.g., merit increases, promotions, adjustments)
Prepare reports, data analyses, and recommendations for HR and leadership
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local compensation regulations
Respond to compensation-related inquiries from HR partners and managers
Support audits and ad-hoc compensation projects as needed
Qualifications
Minimum 2+ years of experience in compensation analysis or a related HR role
Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail
Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)
Experience working with compensation surveys and market data
Knowledge of wage and hour laws and pay equity principles
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting compensation in a corporate or multi-location environment
Familiarity with HRIS systems and reporting tools
Pay Details: $85,000.00 to $95,000.00 per year
