LHH Technology is seeking a skilled and motivated NDDS Software Developer to support a secure, mission-critical program based at Naval Base Point Mugu. This position is focused on designing, developing, and deploying modern microservices to support the Naval Data Delivery System (NDDS) and its migration to a secure AWS IL6 environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain scalable, high-performance .NET Core microservices

  • Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes or Amazon ECS/Fargate

  • Create Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform for AWS resource provisioning

  • Integrate services with technologies such as MongoDB, RabbitMQ, Keycloak, Splunk, and Amazon S3

  • Establish GitLab-based CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, and deployment

  • Collaborate with technical teams and government stakeholders to ensure IL6 compliance

  • Explore and implement AWS-native services to improve platform performance and efficiency


Required Qualifications

  • 3–10 years of experience in software development, specifically with .NET Core and C#

  • Expertise in building and deploying microservices architectures

  • Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes, OpenShift, or ECS/Fargate)

  • Solid knowledge of AWS services, including ECS, S3, IAM, and API Gateway

  • Proficiency with both relational (MSSQL, Oracle) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases

  • Experience in Agile environments, using Git, GitLab, and automated CI/CD pipelines

  • Understanding of OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and authentication tools such as Keycloak or AWS Cognito


Preferred Skills

  • Frontend experience using frameworks like Vue.js

  • Proficiency with Terraform or similar IaC tools

  • Familiarity with monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Splunk, or OpenTelemetry

  • Background supporting DoD or classified projects


Education & Clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
    (Additional experience may substitute for education)

  • Active or interim DoD Secret Clearance required

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen


Compensation

  • Salary Range: $70,000 – $125,000 annually

  • Based on qualifications, experience, location, and any applicable federal requirements
