We are seeking three experienced Safety Managers to support a large-scale datacenter project in Lithia Springs, GA. These roles are contract-to-hire, with the opportunity to transition into permanent employment based on performance and project needs. The Safety Managers will play a critical role in ensuring a safe work environment, maintaining compliance with safety regulations, and driving a culture of safety across the site.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day safety operations on a datacenter construction site.
Ensure compliance with OSHA standards, company safety policies, and local regulations.
Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments, documenting findings and corrective actions.
Lead and facilitate safety meetings, toolbox talks, and training sessions for employees and subcontractors.
Investigate incidents and near-misses, preparing reports and implementing preventative measures.
Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and trade partners to maintain a strong safety culture.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to safety programs and compliance.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in safety management within construction or industrial environments (datacenter experience strongly preferred).
Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and general industry/construction safety standards.
Knowledge of State and Local Codes, CFR 29, 1926, & NFPA 70E.
Ability to conduct incident investigations and determine root causes.
Proficient with computers, phones, and other office equipment.
Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Construction Management, or related field (preferred, not required).
Safety certifications such as CSP, CHST, OSHA 30/500/510, or equivalent are highly desirable.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams in a fast-paced environment.
Pay Details: $40.00 to $45.00 per hour
