Quality Assurance Inspector I
Location: Concord, CA
Pay Rate: $20–$25 per hour DOE
Reports To: Quality Manager, Product Release
Essential Responsibilities
Perform line clearance activities at each phase of the manufacturing process
Ensure all required manufacturing documentation is available at the line prior to clearance
Review manufacturing documentation for accuracy and compliance with department processes
Verify expiration dates using the Shelf‑Life List and Document Changes
Review product packaging labels for accuracy, including part number, lot number, expiration date, storage conditions, product description, product class (IVD, RUO, ASR), and required symbols
Verify approved materials using the Master List of Bottles, Tips, and Caps
Ensure process documentation revisions match Document Changes and are properly completed and signed
Confirm correct data sheets are printed and utilized based on approved revisions
Ensure all materials at the line reflect the product being processed, including stock solutions, labels, documentation, and packaging components
Scan, file, and maintain product documentation as needed
Create Certificates of Analysis (COAs)
Perform other duties as assigned by management
Required Competencies & Skills
Working knowledge of FDA, GMP, and ISO standards
Ability to write clear, accurate, and well‑organized documentation
Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment within established policies
Strong computer literacy
High level of reading comprehension
Ability to work in a high‑pressure, deadline‑driven environment
Understanding of basic math principles
Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
