Job Title: Quality & Environmental, Health & Safety (QEHS) Specialist
Location: Florham Park, NJ (Hybrid)
Pay Rate: Up to $50 per hour
Contract Duration: 4‑Month Maternity Leave Coverage
Employment Type: Contract Assignment

Quality Engineer

Our client located in Morris County is seeking a Quality Engineer to support manufacturing plant quality initiatives. This role helps ensure products, processes, and operations meet industry standards, customer expectations, and regulatory requirements—while driving continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

· Maintain quality control processes and documentation

· Conduct product and process inspections; manage nonconformities

· Support FMEAs, control plans, and SPC measures in partnership with engineering

· Perform internal audits (Quality, Environmental, and Safety)

· Ensure compliance with ISO standards and industry regulations

· Analyze data to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities

· Lead CAPAs and other problem-solving activities

· Maintain documentation, reports, and regulatory compliance records

· Act as liaison with regulatory bodies during audits and inspections

Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, or related field (or equivalent experience)

· 4+ years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment

· Experience with quality systems, audits, and ISO 9001 (ISO 14001/45001 a plus)

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

· Ability to communicate effectively across teams

Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, or related field (or equivalent experience)

· 4+ years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment

· Experience with quality systems, audits, and ISO 9001 (ISO 14001/45001 a plus)

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

· Ability to communicate effectively across teams

· Knowledge of quality and safety standards, KPIs, and continuous improvement tools



Pay Details: $45.00 to $60.00 per hour
