Job Posting: Data Engineer (Mid and Senior level)
Job Type: Full-time, Direct Hire
Location: This position is based in Denver, CO. Either working onsite or hybrid will be determined during the interview process.
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a skilled Data Engineer for a full-time, direct-hire role based in Denver, CO. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 years of experience and will be responsible for designing and developing scalable data pipelines, integrating data from various sources, managing databases, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. This role requires strong technical expertise in SQL, NoSQL, cloud platforms, and programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
The employer is unable to support visa sponsorship or transfers, and no C2C arrangements are available.
Role Responsibilities:
Design and develop scalable data pipelines to support ongoing data processing and analytics needs.
Integrate data from various sources, ensuring data quality and consistency.
Manage and optimize databases to ensure high performance and reliability.
Develop and maintain data models to support business intelligence and analytics.
Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Monitor data systems for performance issues and troubleshoot as necessary.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 6 years of experience in data engineering or a related role.
Proven experience with SQL, NoSQL databases, and data warehousing solutions.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Proficiency with ETL tools and processes.
Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
Skills:
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Ability to adapt to new technologies and methodologies in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills and Abilities:
Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
Knowledge of machine learning techniques and frameworks.
Understanding of data governance and data quality best practices.
Experience working in an Agile development environment.
Pay Details: $120,000.00 to $160,000.00 per year
