LHH is partnering with a rapidly expanding mortgage organization in Charlotte, NC, to hire an experienced Mortgage Loan Processor. This opportunity is ideal for a detail‑oriented, production‑driven professional who excels in fast‑paced mortgage environments and is seeking long‑term growth. Position is contract-hire with growth potential. Compensation includes base salary plus performance-based production bonus tied to loan volume, file quality, and SLA performance.
Location: Charlotte, NC
Work Model: 100% onsite to start; hybrid flexibility available (up to 3 WFH days per month for high performers after 90 days)

About the Role
The Mortgage Loan Processor will oversee a pipeline of residential refinance loans from initial review through closing. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with borrowers, Loan Officers, third‑party vendors, and wholesale investors while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely file movement.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage a high-volume refinance pipeline, ultimately maintaining 40+ active loan files
- Prepare complete, accurate loan packages for wholesale investor submission
- Review borrower documentation including income, assets, credit, and collateral
- Communicate consistently with borrowers, Loan Officers, title companies, appraisers, insurance providers, and VOE partners
- Submit files to underwriting and clear conditions promptly
- Maintain strong file quality, compliance standards, and performance against SLAs
Qualifications
• 2+ years of mortgage loan processing experience
- Wholesale or non‑delegated processing experience strongly preferred
- Experience working within investor portals
- Strong documentation review, attention to detail, and follow‑through
- Ability to succeed in a high‑volume, deadline‑driven mortgage environment
