Overview

LHH Technology is partnering with a leading defense contractor to hire a Senior Computer Systems Analyst in support of high-impact programs at Naval Base Point Mugu. This role is ideal for candidates with extensive systems analysis experience who thrive in collaborative, mission-driven environments. You’ll serve as a vital interface between government stakeholders and technical teams, contributing to projects that directly support national defense.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison with government representatives and program stakeholders on all technical and administrative matters.

• Perform systems analysis of complex engineering, scientific, and operational data to develop and enhance computer systems.

• Identify automation and optimization opportunities by analyzing user workflows and procedures.

• Evaluate system limitations and recommend suitable commercial software solutions.

• Support documentation and planning for defense systems, sub-systems, and logistics.

• Manage critical system data throughout development, deployment, and sustainment phases.

• Collaborate directly with onsite government personnel to align solutions with mission objectives.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in systems analysis, software development, or technical program support—preferably in defense/government sectors.

• Strong understanding of software/system development lifecycles, integration, and testing.

• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

• Proven ability to work independently and manage technical tasks in a deadline-driven environment.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and SharePoint.

Education Requirements

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

• Substitution: A Bachelor’s degree with four additional years of relevant experience will also be considered.

Security Clearance

• U.S. Citizenship required.

• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.

• Final employment offer contingent upon successful clearance validation.
