Our client, a dynamic and growing organization, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Staff Accountant to join their finance team. The ideal candidate will have extensive general ledger experience, strong reconciliation skills, and hands-on expertise with NetSuite. This temp to hire opportunity offers a hybrid schedule and the pay is $75k-$85k based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes.

• Perform heavy reconciliations of bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and other financial records.

• Assist with financial statement preparation and analysis.

• Support audits and ensure adherence to internal controls.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues and improve processes.

• Utilize NetSuite for daily accounting operations, reporting, and data management.

• Handle foreign currency transactions and reconciliations as needed.

• Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required).

• Minimum of three years of general ledger accounting experience, including extensive reconciliation work.

• Proficiency with NetSuite ERP (required).

• Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls.

• Preference for candidates with experience in foreign currency accounting.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
