Our client, a dynamic and growing organization, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Staff Accountant to join their finance team. This is an excellent temp to hire opportunity for anyone looking to advance their career with a reputable company. The ideal candidate will have extensive general ledger experience, strong reconciliation skills, and hands-on expertise with NetSuite. This temp to hire opportunity offers a hybrid schedule and the pay is $75k-$85k based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
Perform heavy reconciliations of bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and other financial records.
Assist with financial statement preparation and analysis.
Support audits and ensure adherence to internal controls.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues and improve processes.
Utilize NetSuite for daily accounting operations, reporting, and data management.
Handle foreign currency transactions and reconciliations as needed.
Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required).
Minimum of three years of general ledger accounting experience, including extensive reconciliation work.
Proficiency with NetSuite ERP (required).
Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls.
Preference for candidates with experience in foreign currency accounting.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Pay Details: $35.00 to $41.00 per hour
