Job Description: HR Generalist
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Generalist to join our client’s team in Albuquerque, NM. This position is for a confidential client and offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As an Executive Recruiter, I am looking for a candidate who can effectively manage various HR functions and contribute to the overall success of the organization.
Responsibilities
Onboarding: Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
Benefits Administration: Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
Applicant Screening: Screen and evaluate job applicants to ensure they meet the qualifications and requirements of the position.
Working with Line Managers: Collaborate with line managers to address HR-related issues and provide guidance on best practices.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Reporting: Prepare and maintain HR reports, including employee records, performance evaluations, and other documentation.
Administration: Handle general HR administration tasks, such as maintaining employee files, processing payroll, and managing HR systems.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
At least 3 years of experience in an HR Generalist role or similar position.
Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Compensation
Salary Range: $60k – $65k annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
