About the Opportunity
Our client, a leading legal practise, is seeking a talented and motivated Commercial Property Solicitor to join their dynamic Real Estate Commercial team in Southampton. This is an exciting opportunity to engage with a diverse portfolio of commercial property clients, including developers, investors, and lenders, in a fast-paced and specialist environment.
Your Responsibilities
- Property Transactions: Facilitate the purchase and sale of commercial properties, collaborating closely with developers and investors.
- Finance Matters: Provide expert advice on secured lending transactions, including property-backed finance arrangements for both borrowers and lenders.
- Landlord & Tenant: draught, negotiate, and manage commercial lease agreements, including renewals and assignments, ensuring compliance and client satisfaction.
- Pension Trusts: Handle transactions involving SIPPs and SASS pension schemes, with opportunities to expand your knowledge in this niche area.
- Team Support & Growth: Actively contribute to the team's reputation and growth through exceptional client care, collaboration, and business development initiatives.
About the Team
The Real Estate Commercial team is renowned for its client-focused approach and extensive experience across various property matters. They cater to developers, investors, landlords, tenants, and financial institutions, delivering tailored, high-quality legal support. What We're Looking For
- Experience: NQ-3 years PQE with prior experience in commercial property matters. Exposure to property development or investment transactions is highly desirable.
- Legal Skills: Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills are essential. A commercial, solutions-driven mindset is key.
- Client Focus: Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships through excellent service and responsiveness.
- Motivation: A proactive team player who confidently embraces responsibility and contributes to team success.
- Organisation: Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage a busy caseload with competing deadlines effectively.
