£Competitive Salary + Benefits
A major industrial organisation is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial team supporting a landmark transformation programme within the UK steel industry. This fixed-term opportunity, running until March 2028, offers the chance to play a key role in delivering one of the most significant industrial investment projects in the country, focused on creating a more sustainable future for steel production.
Working as part of a dedicated commercial team on a large-scale infrastructure programme, you will take responsibility for managing the commercial and contractual aspects of significant construction and civil engineering workstreams. Close collaboration with project engineers, planners and delivery teams will be essential in maintaining alignment between commercial objectives and project delivery. In addition, you will provide guidance and support to junior members of the commercial team, helping to foster a strong and collaborative working culture.

You will have strong working knowledge of contract frameworks including NEC3/4, FIDIC or JCT, alongside excellent commercial judgement, negotiation ability and analytical skills. The role requires someone who can confidently engage with a wide range of stakeholders while maintaining a proactive and solutions-focused approach to balancing cost, risk and project outcomes.

This role provides the chance to work on a complex and high-profile programme while developing your experience within a collaborative and forward-thinking commercial team.
