Management Accountant


Location: Presteigne (on-site)



We are seeking a Management Accountant to support the preparation of management accounts across multiple business divisions.


Key Responsibilities


  • Prepare monthly management accounts with accurate analysis and commentary
  • Complete and review balance sheet reconciliations
  • Manage intercompany transactions
  • Monitor ASC606 project compliance and valuations
  • Support inventory valuation, reporting and annual stock counts
  • Report performance against budgets and plans
  • Conduct sales, order, margin and 80/20 analysis
  • Assist with weekly 80/20 reporting
  • Review and approve RFQs and orders
  • Build financial models and support business decision‑making
  • Maintain financial controls and ensure accuracy of financial records
  • Support budgeting, forecasting and ad hoc tasks

About You


  • Ideally CIMA/ACCA qualified or finalist (experience‑qualified candidates considered)
  • Excellent communication and business partnering skills
  • Strong Excel and systems capability
  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
  • Able to work independently
  • Driving licence and willingness to travel preferred
