LHH is partnered with Creative Scotland as they seek a Contract Officer to join their team. As part of the Legal Team within the Funding Operations directorate, you'll play an important role in managing the contracts and agreements that underpin investment in Scotland's creative and cultural landscape.
Working closely with the Legal Manager and colleagues across the organisation, you will provide first-class business affairs, negotiation, and legal support across a diverse portfolio of funding programmes. From drafting and issuing agreements for National Lottery and Scottish Government funds to liaising with independent producers, cultural organisations, and internal stakeholders, you'll ensure every contract is accurate, compliant, and aligned with Creative Scotland's policies and values.
You'll bring a background in legal, business affairs, or contract management - ideally supported by para-legal qualifications or relevant professional experience. Confidence in negotiating and drafting contractual terms, combined with a strong eye for detail and a proactive, organised approach, will be key to success in this role. You'll be comfortable working to tight deadlines, managing multiple priorities, supporting colleagues, and maintaining excellent relationships with internal teams and external partners alike. Proficiency in DocuSign, SharePoint, MS Dynamics, and Adobe Acrobat is essential, as these tools are central to the contract management processes.
This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the work of an organisation that celebrates and invests in Scotland's creativity. You'll be part of a collaborative, supportive team committed to delivering high professional standards and making a meaningful impact on the arts and culture sector.
If you're ready to use your skills to support Scotland's creative future, we'd love to hear from you.
