About the Role


A highly regarded regional UK law firm is seeking a motivated and technically proficient Solicitor to join its Dispute Resolution team in Cheltenham. This is an excellent opportunity for an NQ-2 PQE solicitor to gain exposure to a broad range of commercial disputes, including financial services litigation, intellectual property, business protection, and contentious trusts and probate matters.


Key Responsibilities



  • Advise clients on commercial disputes, including those involving banks, financial advisers, brokers, and other professional services providers.


  • Handle matters relating to intellectual property, technology disputes, business protection, and contentious trusts and probate issues.


  • Draft legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence with precision and clarity.


  • Collaborate with senior team members and take ownership of your own caseload.


  • Contribute to business development and cross-referrals within the firm.


Candidate Profile



  • Experience: NQ-2 PQE solicitor with exposure to commercial disputes, either during training or post-qualification.


  • Technical Skills: Strong drafting abilities and a solid understanding of commercial litigation principles.


  • Commercial Awareness: Ability to understand and respond effectively to client needs.


  • Personal Attributes: Proactive, organised, detail-oriented, and collaborative.


  • Business Development: Willingness to engage in business development and contribute to the team's growth.
