About the Role
A highly regarded regional UK law firm is seeking a motivated and technically proficient Solicitor to join its Dispute Resolution team in Cheltenham. This is an excellent opportunity for an NQ-2 PQE solicitor to gain exposure to a broad range of commercial disputes, including financial services litigation, intellectual property, business protection, and contentious trusts and probate matters.
Key Responsibilities
Advise clients on commercial disputes, including those involving banks, financial advisers, brokers, and other professional services providers.
Handle matters relating to intellectual property, technology disputes, business protection, and contentious trusts and probate issues.
Draft legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence with precision and clarity.
Collaborate with senior team members and take ownership of your own caseload.
Contribute to business development and cross-referrals within the firm.
Candidate Profile
Experience: NQ-2 PQE solicitor with exposure to commercial disputes, either during training or post-qualification.
Technical Skills: Strong drafting abilities and a solid understanding of commercial litigation principles.
Commercial Awareness: Ability to understand and respond effectively to client needs.
Personal Attributes: Proactive, organised, detail-oriented, and collaborative.
Business Development: Willingness to engage in business development and contribute to the team's growth.
