LHH is proud to be partnering with a leading organisation to recruit a HR Manager to join their Brighton-based team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced, people-focused environment and wants to make a real impact.
The Role
Reporting to the HR Director, you'll play a pivotal role in developing and delivering key HR initiatives across Learning & Development, Recruitment, Retention, Reward, Employee Engagement, and Diversity & Inclusion. You'll work closely with the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) to ensure the HR strategy supports business goals and fosters a culture of growth, inclusion, and safety.
What You'll Be Doing
- Champion Safety: Promote and uphold a culture of personal safety and wellbeing across all teams.
- Develop People: Partner with the SLT to implement effective Personal Development Plans (PDPs) that empower employees to grow and succeed.
- Shape HR Strategy: Design and deliver a flexible, forward-looking HR strategy that keeps pace with a fast-changing market.
- Drive Recruitment: Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding for Operations and select office-based roles.
- Engage & Inspire: Lead annual engagement surveys, plan exciting employee events (think Summer BBQs and Christmas Parties), and help make work a great place to be.
- Champion Inclusion: Gather, analyse, and report on Diversity & Inclusion data, ensuring every voice is heard and valued.
About You
You're an experienced HR generalist who's as comfortable with strategy as you are with people. You bring energy, insight, and innovation to everything you do.
- Experience: At least 5 years' broad HR experience, ideally CIPD qualified.
- Expertise: Strong background in L&D, Recruitment, Retention, and Reward.
- Relationship Builder: Skilled at developing trusted partnerships across all levels.
- Innovator: Keen to explore and implement AI-driven HR solutions.
- Organised & Results-Focused: Excellent planning, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Safety & Quality Mindset: Always striving for excellence while prioritising wellbeing and safe working practices.
- Education: Degree-level qualification (or equivalent). Insights accreditation desirable but not essential.
